I don't suppose anyone knows if it is possible to earn QFF points when travelling in QF planes codeshared and booked as AF? :?:

Fairly safe to say the answer would be 'no'. You'd need to be flying on the QF code to earn QFF points. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Well I'll be! I was about to correct you thinking, stupidly that AF was part of OW... but it is not! It is not even *alliance!

Member of some dinky little "Sky team":

on eligible flights with AIR FRANCE, KLM, Air Europa, Kenya Airways, SkyTeam airlines* and partner airlines...

How interesting...

Yep. That's what I expected. I was hpoing someone knew Jill or Jack that could print a boarding pass with QF on it ;), but I guess there are two chances of that.

I guess it comes down to signing up for FlyingBlue or SkyMiles. I'll sign-up for both and decide which one to use on the day (noting that there might be something happening with Delta and VJ).

You will still get a QF boarding pass with a QF flight number as QF is operating the flight, but what will "give the game away", so to speak, is that under the Service Info section your BP will read "sold as AFxx_x."

Has anyone actually found out if this is true or flown on a QF Flight # on AF and actually got status/credits?

On the airline earning table it doesn't mention AF Air France at all.

Would be interesting to know for sure as I'll be travelling on AF in Sept this year on QF flight #.

As long as you're on a QF flight number, it earns as if you were actually flying with QF - so yes, you'll get points and SCs.

This is AF Codeshare operated by QF, so I am guessing it is a PER-SIN or the like on QF metal.

So yes QF flight number = points and SC's;)

My understanding of codeshare flights is that if it's QF / AF codeshare, it doesn't matter what aircraft you're on, earning is determined by which of the airlines you're ticketed on. So....if you have an AF flight number on your ticket, you're an AF passenger (even if you travel on a QF plane) so no points in the QF program.

You forgot the /sarcasm tag right?
