G'day Folks,

ALL of my recent travel (and the first FFP status ever) has been with NZ... I have just noticed however that I have about 35000 points sitting around waiting to die in my old QF NB account..

I'd LIKE to try to use most of those on an award Business flight with CX from HKG-MNL in June... OK.. now you've stopped laughing...;) On the "calculator" (which I got to through the link on the "Ultimate QANTAS thread" here - and thanks for that!) one can get a "points cost" (26000) on that flight so I am assuming it is at least theoretically possible...

Assuming availability ( a BIG assumption I know)... what do I do?.. Just call?

I can't find any online method of booking partner awards... have I missed something?

You can't book CX awards online with QF so you will need to call QF and do it over the phone. They may waive the assisted fee of 2,500 points.

Partner award availability is supposed to be automatically access using the on-line booking tool.

However, since late 2006 there has been a problem with availability showing up for CX flights. (None shows where indeed there is)

Thanks guys!! That will be a single little OW flight in a SEA of *A..

Doesn't seem to BE any *A on that route!

I'll take what I can get.. C would be nice.. Y would do... I'll just call and see!

Thanks again - nice to know it is at least possible!!
