QF-QF International Transfer at AKL

Has anyone here ever done something like MEL QF x/AKL QF SYD on the same day with a 60 min layover eg. QF131 -> QF44?

The MCT appears to be 75 mins for * -> QFi (no specific QFi-QFi MCT listed), but the standard international -> international MCT for AKL is 55 mins.

If have transited so, but with a few hours, never just 60 minutes ...

Can't remember the exact transit time - but yeah was about 60 mins. Not much more.

No problem, just walked all the way past the exit area and kept going to transit security then up to lounge for a beer with Serfty if I remember right

I think there was much more than an hour.

FWIW, if your inbound is on time, you can OLCI & have HLO then you should be fine.

If 131 is as much as 20 minutes late, you may be SOL-it's a good 10 minutes Trot between the furthest gates.

You may be right... I didn't think I had that much to spare.... But I was HLO and everything was on time

You must walk slow

Over the last 2 years, I've averaged 10-15 minutes from plane-door to carpark, including collecting baggage and often duty free shopping

The slowest part is getting off the plane, and I'm usually in row 6.

Yep, I've been out of gate four and landside within 5 minutes.

I was expressing a possible issue if the gates for the flights aren't frienldy - Gate 16 to Gate 8 is over ½ a mile ...

(There's not much I don't know about AKL, it's been my second home for the last few years in my pursuit of Gold Elite status! )

Thanks all - looks like it's risky but possible with HLO, checked would be another can of worms...
