Cancelled an existing ticket on Tuesday morning (or Monday night where I was depending on which side of the timezones you're on), and rebooked it using the credit with Reservations at the same time.

System only finishes ticketing it late yesterday afternoon, and only after giving Reservations a second nudge over the phone. Operator had no explanation as to what caused the delay.

Adding to my minor annoyance, they didn't attempt to contact the customer about the delay, nor did it seem anyone noticed the problem (no alarms or alerts generated given the ticket hadn't issued and pax travelling within 7 days). Their voucher re-booking system also won't allow you to use it for a multi-city booking, so you're stuck calling Reservations and copping an extra AUD40 phone booking fee.

I've already sent a polite email off to the QP/QFF service centre asking for it to be refunded given it was impossible to book my required ticket online, and see what if any service improvements they'll make to enable use of a voucher for more complex bookings online.

Its not a terrible problem - these are just some of the flaws QF really needs to iron out in their system to provide a seamless customer experience.
