Umm that is just the weekly QF domestic NZ sale, comes out every Tuesday. This one is not as good as some even.

The weekly sale used to last a week and was recently cut to 3 days. This one now 2 days. Hopefully a temporary shortening due to lack of discount availability during the busy ski season rather than a move down to 1 day only sale.

Lately the best ones have been NZ$69 to ZQN (15 SCs) and NZ$59 to WLG (10 SCs).

CHC sale fare is combinable with CHC-ZQN for a fairly cheap 40 SCs round trip.

I'm waiting for some early July cheapies.

Me two; I am looking for an AKL-WLG return in late June; currently NZD178 for the trip but since most flights on the particular days are showing X6/8/9 I'm hangin' out for one of those $59 sales.

(Also keeping a heads up for late July and August as well).

FWIW, there currently a sale on www.qantas.co.nz 'til May 5th where WLG/AKL-MEL/SYD are NZD219 one way; including flashware's October dates on another thread.

And out on a Monday instead of the traditional Tuesday.

Was there any availability though? When I checked (before 7am NZ time) there was nothing. I think the load went wrong, but its possible they had so few seats they were already sold out.

That's probably the case; AKL/WLG @$89 is the standard cheapest fare (and is still showing as the cheapest fare for the sale period).

I hope they fix it as I am looking to get from AKL to WLG during the advertised sale period and a $50 return saving would be sweet.

The sale fares are not as good as in the past few months.

I still can't see any. Has anyone seen availability on these fares? Assuming they didn't sell out very early it is a poor effort to not have them loaded for close to half the duration of the sale (so far). If they did sell out so early (which would be unprecedented) then they can't have made many seats available (dozens or less). Either way, not good.

QF confirmed they were not loaded and no idea when they will be. You have to call, the phone lines are busy, and of course the advertised 0800 number doesn't work from Auckland.

Very annoying.

That would not have done any good; while the sale was advertised; the discounted prices were not available on www.qantas.co.nz until this afternoon (Just before K/F advised as such).
