QF SC/Pts calculator not working (USA)

I had issues with it trying to calculate sectors on sone city pairs where AA operate non-stop flights but it wouldn't display eg ORD/SJD & FLL/PAP.

There are quite a few QR routes that the calculator can not handle.

If we're talking about the same thing, I have been using the Partner Airlines Earning Tables all day, have only been reading them rather than taking any action on them, but it seemed like the whole table was available from what I could see. I need to get my wife from Perth to Nairobi as gently as possible so have been looking intently.

I've found this annoying as well.

I presume they've put the calculator on hold until after Jan 10th when the enhanced USA J/F earning comes into effect? Seems strange they've restricted it by USA location only though.

but the calculator normally has a date function so if I select a date after Jan 11 I could see the new earn rates.

The QF status credit calculator doesn't function on most of the plethora of new AA routes launched in the past 18 months . So one has to manually work out the mileage between the two airports to work out the number of status credits earnt.
My wish : It's time for someone to re enter the entire One World global route map back into the QF calculator and continue to do so every 6 months to keep the calculator updated.

Hey Fred,
Does this calculation seem right to you. QR DOH-CDG.
It seems really low for a flight of that distance?
60 sc?

The earnings table for Europe to the Middle East for First shows 90 SC, Business 60, Flex Y and economy 30 and Discount Y 15. Note the calculator has the same earning for flexible economy and business (30 SC) and the same for discount economy and economy (15 SC). Which one is correct? I would wonder if QF can say for sure .

In any case, QF would appear to not want anyone preferring to connect in the Middle East to Europe except on QF and EK code shares.

Ain't that the truth. Have just tried to book my wife PER/NBO return on the QF web site on a QR flight, all it will give us is a choice of EK flights via Melbourne or Sydney!. Even a call to the Platinum help line didnt help, was told if you want to fly QR, go to their web site.

Or use a TA....

PS There are a couple of good ones in Perth

QR rates are pretty decimated between AU/NZ and Europe. I'm looking to get to Europe in J for a conference and QR is the cheapest at the moment. Their new non-stop AKL-DOH (longest service in the world) earns 80SC's in J...and the DOH-TXL is even worse at 30SC's for that flight in J.

I'm having similar problems! I'm worried this might be off topic but i'll give it a crack. I'm trying to max QF SC and Pts but wanted the fare ex-AU through to Europe in J on Cathay or Qatar, returning with QF. Initially told this was possible by all three airlines but none could calculate a fare on it.

Yeah, the Qantas calculator is spitting out QR results that don't make sense at all...

How is it possible that MEL-DOH (11953 km) in J is only 80SC when BKK-DOH (5290 km) earns 100SC. Also, ADL-DOH (11316 km) earning 90SC vs MEL's 80SC...

Not quite distance based (MEL vs ADL), nor revenue based as flights out of BKK about 1/2 cost compared with Ex-Oz...

Sounds about right as per the Partner Earning table - https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/flying/airline-earning#partner-airline-earning-table

non QF/EK flights between Australia/Middle East/Europe are "de-valued". Other routes less so. "Fairer and simpler"

DOH-TXL should earn 60 SC's, not according to the calculator but according to the Partner Airline Earning Table and Qantas, Jetstar and Partner airline regions and definitions

They spell out the MH rules clearly but not so for QR?
