Hi all - have a query regarding an upcoming booking in October. It's from Perth to Copenhagen in business, with a deliberately long, connecting itinerary that was done to maximise status credits earn.
It was booked through JAL, with all flights bar one being on a JL flight number. In terms of metal, the PER-SIN/SIN-PER legs are on Qantas, the SIN-LHR/LHR-SIN (via Tokyo) legs are all JAL metal, and the LHR-CPH/CPH-LHR are on British Airways.
On the Qantas bookings page, it would appear that the return leg from Copenhagen is earning the full status credits for business, but for some reason, the outward bound journey seems to be earning much less??
In terms of booking class, all the outbound legs are in "I" class (see below), while the inbound legs are in "D" class
If I've understood the partner tables correctly - shouldn't both "I" and "D" be eligible for the full business class status credits earn with the JL flight number? Or have I missed something completely?
Thank you!
