Qf sg new card

Hi All,

So I requalififed for SG after last nights flight yay!
My status re-assessment date isn't until 30NOV so I am wondering if my new SG card with updated valid to date will be sent shortly or after my status re-assessment date in November as there is no way i'll be making WP by that date. Thanks for the info.

I got my gold card in Jan and it said Jun 2012 so your should say Nov 2012..

I have just got WP and it still says the same dates.

It will take app 3 weeks to get the pack with the new card and also the bag tags.

I just got my WP bag tags and they are now only using one colour which is silver.

When i got my Gold membership i got gold bag tags.

Rung the Platinum FF number and they said they only use silver ones now.

thanks for the reply. Don't think i'll be getting any more Q-tags as im just requalifying for Gold and not getting a new status (I already have SG tags from intial qualification).

Prior to NGCI, my consistent experience was that the re-qualification¹ pack would be sent out around 8 weeks before the end of the membership "year"; a November expiry would see this being received early to Mid October.

¹ Assumes one had already re-qualified, if not the alternate versions were generally either a card with another year's status 'comped' or a 'please outline your travel so we can consider you' letter.

I wouldnt expect to get your card too far in advance of 30 Nov as you could (in QF's eyes) qualify for WP. I got my new WP card about 3 - 4 weeks before the renewal date.

I am really surprised by this as they are advertising the bronze tags still in the frequent flyer store. The Plat tags have always been a sort of silver - only distinguishable from PS by the lack of red.
