QF Status Reassessment

Hello,

Bit confused about my status reassessment. My date for reassessment was yesterday, I lost all my sc's as of today and have earnt some new ones from a flight today.

I was SG, and have flown lots of segments, however haven't got anything like enough SC's to retain gold. My summary page is saying I'm still SG, that my assessment date is 30 April 2010, and the amount of credits I need to earn by 30 April 2011 to retain gold.

Can anyone shed any light?

I received no correspondence from QF prior to the 'expiry' date.

Qantas systems take a few days to finalise the reassessment as they allow time for late posting of flight details from partner airlines. Expect it to be sorted within the week.

Yes it does take a few days for the reassessment date and status to change over as there may still be outstanding flights to credit to account.

It also takes a few days for the comp to come through that you may not be expecting, so instead of dropping down your SG might be confirmed for another year, no guarantees but that is exactly what happened to me. I had 135SCs for the year at the time.

I'm in a similar position to the OP. With the same cut-off, SC's that will take me to WP are yet to come through.

My rollover happened on 30 April so today my account shows 0 SCs and 1400 SCs to achieve platinum. Seems a big challenge to keep SG but I know it will happen over the next 12 months. Platinum seems to be elusive over the past several years though.

Status has updated now to Qantas Club Silver with the Qantas club set to expire on 31 July this year. I wasn't a paid Qantas club member before I was gold - can anyone shed any light?

Three months complimentary membership has been reported before by folk downgraded from gold to silver. When you get your new silver card there should be a letter about it.

Which gives you a free three months to get Gold back without any major loss of privileges :!:
