Wondering whether I will need to collect luggage and check in again at Singapore please. I didn't think I did but now I'm doubting myself

1st PNR (revenue booking) QF PER-SIN
2nd PNR (QFF reward BOOKING but EK metal) SIN-DXB-BHX (both EK)

I had assumed that being Qantas and Emirates that the interline agreement but apply, but as they're are 2 PNRs I'm now unsure!

And if QF won't check luggage through you'll be fine in SIN, just go to transfer desk and they will take care of luggage amd boarding passes.

Is this still true? I know there used to be this facility pre-COVID which was definitely rescinded during the pandemic and these pages on the Changi website suggest that they won't recheck non-tagged bags ...

To qualify as a Transit Passenger, traveller must:
  • Have both flights booked in the same booking itinerary
  • Have their check-in luggage tagged-through from the origin airport to their final destination

As others have already said, absolutely no issues doing this. I was almost in the exact same situation as yourself last year (my thread asking the same question in the link below). I informed a Qantas member of staff upon my arrival at Perth airport and they ushered me to be processed separately and promptly aside from all the other passengers! I was pleasantly surprised at how effortless it was. :) I availed of the same agreement on my AMM - SIN, SIN - PER return back to Australia without a hitch too.
