QF upgrades out of London

Just wondering... if you book QF Economy from LHR to SYD/MEL and use points to upgrade, does QF charge you the extra taxes associated with expensive UK departure tax for premium cabins?

I know some airlines do for upgrades... but I've never known for QF.
