QF Website Issues

I've found Qantas IT to be pretty receptive to bug reports / issues etc. My 2 examples:

1. I discovered a bug in the Frequent Flyer part of the website that if you changed your profile in a certain way, you would then be locked out of your account completely.
I worked with Qantas IT over email for a couple of days and they replicated the issue, and presumably it's fixed now. Not willing to try again. :)

2. Recently I discovered another bug in the website (based around the redesign of the FF booking system) that meant certain data wasn't handled correctly. In fact it was a minor security issue potentially. Reported it to Qantas IT again, and they fixed it quietly and never let me know it was fixed.

So, yep they listen...

Happy to chat about the details of both issues, but not online!

On the subject of website issues, does anyone receive the mixed SSL/HTTP messages whilst logged into the FF section of the website.

(Using IE7)?

Yep - there are a couple of bits (e.g. the flash parts) that aren't delivered over https, and if you browser settings say so, you will get alerted about this.

Indeed. They should fix it to help avoid confusion for visitors.

Just shot them an email. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon :D

I guess that would depend on the type of issue and who gets to experience it.

Last week I was playing around with a very simple RTW routing and I kept getting timed out. This went for well over an hour and as it was mid-morning I could not think of anything significant that could be causing the issue. Anyway I gave up in the end.

Personally I think the website is way to busy most times and I wish they would try to make it simple again with all the bells and whistles.
