Here comes my first trip to Perth this year, but it seems so long since the last one in November.

I'm flying over on Sunday 9th June (BNE/MEL/PER via QF's DSC of course) and staying in the DT on Sunday night, then Hilton Monday & Tuesday nights. Arrival is scheduled at 10.45pm so no chance of dinner that night.

I already have an appointment on Monday night with my usual clients in Bicton, so only Tuesday night is free.

So I'll link all the previous interested people and they can express their interest. Will update this post with date, venue and time.

Can't have a big night on the Tuesday, as have a 7.30am meeting on Wednesday.

Possible sites:
The Royal on Claisebrook Inlet in East Perth: Waterfront Bistro Perth - The Royal On The Waterfront
Mister Walker, South Perth (venue of previous MaM dinner): Menus | Eat • Drink • Play | Mister Walker South Perth

I'm going to suggest a start from 6pm (drinks) until everybody shows up.

Hmmm - on the beach won't be so much fun on Monday by the look of it :(.

I suggest indoors at Il Lido will be preferable to on the deck at The Blue Duck for your lunch ;):p.

Yeah unfortunately I'm flying to Cairns tomorrow then up to Japan Sunday...

Tuesday is possible for me even though it is a work day.
Do let me know where you decide to have it.
I think the parking around Mr Walker may be difficult due to construction and landscaping the last time we went to Cocos across the road.

I’m in your hands Gentlemen (you being locals and all :D). You know the lie of the land. I’m happy to eat anywhere.

About to start my trip over by boarding BNE/MEL

Indeed, why fly direct (B738) when one can fly connect (B738 to an A332) and collect DSC at the same time, plus get upgraded on both legs. I can waste a Sunday afternoon flying across. Worth every DSC towards LTG.

@QF WP, judging from your photo in 'View from my office', you are staying in Northbridge.

Gents, what about Shadow Wine Bar: Shadow Wine Bar for dinner? It would be a short walk for @QF WP, is very convenient for me by single bus and there's a council car park very close for @cove driving.

I've always enjoyed it there.

Was only there for 1 night due to saving of $100 for the night - now back to my beloved Hilton with usual upgrade to Queen Suite and knowing 3 of the staff.

Can say I’ve stayed there now but it really is out of the way for me as proximity to clients is poor (most are along St George’s Terrace). The one positive was the server at breakfast Paola from Brazil.

But I’ll go anywhere to have a drink with you gentlemen. I’ll have finished appts tomorrow by 5 (last one is at AMP Building on St George’s Terrace). Happy to head back down there - will need the walk after a day of sedentary meetings.

I guess you were at the Doubletree? Shadow Wine Bar is under The Alex, which is very close.

Paging @cove for his view.

As I said before, anything works for me.

Well @JohnM I am ok about trying something I haven’t been to before. I rarely go to that area of town. I may not bring my car. What time are you thinking?

@QF WP mentioned upthread that he’d prefer an early night and suggested 6pm for drinks. Works nicely for me. What works for you?

I can make a booking to ensure a table.

Ok I may struggle for 6pm but that depends on the traffic so book it that way.
