Some feedback would be welcome on the QF 787 Y+ bulkhead for tall people. When I tried a bulkhead in Y was very uncomfortable as I could not straighten my legs (190cm tall). Reviews of the 787 Y+ generally do not seem to be good when people recline. Feedback from tall people who have tried the bulkhead would be appreciated. Thanks Unfortunately not many options to YVR and all very expensive.

I am 188cm and I flew BNE-LAX in the 789 PE bulkhead (on the window) before COVID.

I found it acceptable. While I have not sat in any other rows in PE, I still think I would have preferred the bulkhead given that there is no one reclining into you so you maintain the space around your knees. Once I got the foot net working on the bulkhead I was relatively comfortable and managed to get some good sleep.

However as you pointed out, you are not really able to straighten your legs. In my case, that was not an issue (as I got comfortable in a cradle like position) but that may not suit you.

I’ve seen some pictures that the PEY bulkhead foot net thing is horizontal? That should make for a somewhat comfortable sleep?
