My business partner and I have booked seats on QF107 dep Sat 15th May through to JFK. (we paid $3750 return for Y+, barganza!)

She has Gold Status (partner Gold, if that means any less). Have read on here that sometimes Y+ pax will be put into J seating on the 4 class 747. Is this still happening, is someone who has access to the current bookings able to advise the likelihood of this happening again please?

I had the misfortune of flying J in the A380 inaugural flight as the result of a competition win, so am now doomed to suffer flying anything less hereafter ;).

Thanks in advance!

Don't think they are doing Y+ in J seating anymore... That said log onto your QF profile and see if you can pre-allocate a seat as far front as possible, that will give you an idea of if J seats are available to you.
