QF108 seat selection

Traveling QF108 from JFK for the first time in June. Online seat selection shows A330 seating only. I was under the impression that the aircraft changes at LAX to 744. How do I select the 744 seating?

I think you will need to select your seat on the A330 leg (JFK-LAX) first. The system will then present you with the seating chart for the 747 leg (LAX-SYD).

Apparently this can't be done online - you have to call to request seating allocation on the second leg.

Yep, I called the Plat help desk and they sorted it for me.
