QF2 not operating on 16 May

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can shed some light as to why QF2 is no longer operating 15-16 May? We were booked on it but just received notification that we're now flying a day earlier. ExpertFlyer and QF website no longer list it despite QF1 operating in the other direction every day during May.

I don't want to go ahead accepting changes if it is just a glitch and then comes back online in a few days. This has happened to domestic flights lately (almost every SYD-HBA, HBA-SYD) but wouldn't expect it on this particular flight.

OK, makes sense. After my initial post I found that QF84 has been snuck in that night, along side the usual Finair flight.

Doubt it, one of the A380s in AUH is due to make its long awaited return around that time

You could be right! In the absence of them inviting me to join up, I’ll stick to the alternative that QF have offered. Still in 1A
