Hi all, is there any further speculation on QF rationalisation (to JQi) or are these routes now considered fairly stable.
Being bumped onto JQ12 Business Max (overnight) would be difficult to accept.

I think 21/22 are stable. In fact I read something recently about QF putting on more flights to NRT. I can't remember the exact details. Maybe they are upping the service frequency? I'll have a look around.

Hrm. Can't find where I read that. Ill have another look later. Still, I'd say your bookings are safe.

I think it is pretty safe as the flight joins two main OW hubs. I think there may be some obligation under OW to keep flying the route.

Also I think if it did get canned then you would likely get put on to JAL business class rather than JQ business class. I think even Qantas realise that JQ Business class is not equivalent to QF business class.

QF announced that they would be increasing capacity on the route to what it was pre earthquake/tsunami with a change to a 747 once a week.

Thanks for that recently dated media update.
(And I didn't realise the JL option as suggested earlier.)
Is it 3 class, flying in a 4 class hardware configuration (for seating)?
