It looks like they are flying the smaller 'bus tonight. If i understand correctly some a330s can now do wifi over Australia with the nbn.

Will this flight be one of them?

The A332 in domestic configuration (leather seats) have wifi.

The aircraft has WiFi, but Tokyo isn't one of the routes that Qantas claims to have international WiFi on. In theory you should have coverage for the first few hours of the flight though.

EF is showing a A333 both for aircraft type and seat map (no 23J/K)? Where are you seeing A332?

You're right. I could have sworn this was the smaller aircraft when I started looking at flights.

This post can be closed. No wifi on international A333 AFAIK.
(I will just try and sleep instead)

Only the short-haul configured A330-200s have Wi-Fi. These are mainly used on domestic flights and sometimes to SIN, CGK, DPS or MNL.

When Qantas sends an A330-200 to Tokyo, it's usually one of the long-haul configured planes without Wi-Fi.
