QF29 delayed 2 plus hours? 13 July 2014

Waiting in Melbourne Airport for 935 deprture to HK - now delayed to 1145am … will it actually g0 - our lst QF flight was delayed 23 hours - gate staff not giving any info - anybody help with intel?

Reason eventually given - chaning planes with US one bound for Singapore (which was then awaiting a part to be brought from Brisbane) - boarded after 10am but 6 pax unlocated … eventually waited an extra hour for final passenger to be located - guess they would have tried her mobile, not just endless futile paging?
