Hi
this is my first post so please be gentle! we are flying business class ( paying) in may on QF5 to frankfurt and was wanting to know if lower deck row 4 is better than upper deck rows 17 or 18
also returning in june on QF2 on airbus and would like to know best seats also
any comments would assist.
thanks

The upper deck can be quieter and the window seats have a nice storage bin which is useful, so I would say go for upstairs.

But in lower deck row 4 both seats have aisle access which gives easier access to toilets etc during the night. Disadvantage is closeness to the galley, but I still prefer row 4.

Each to his own.

If you are flying business class then there are no bad seats.

Upstairs makes you feel like you are flying on your on private jet, as long as the stairs aren't a bother to you, row 4 isn't too bad; instead of turning right to head down the back of the plane you get to turn left to your seat.

I flew to FRAnkfurt on QF5 2 weeks ago in PE and I hope that the plane they use has the updated IFE VH-OJJ the IFE was terrible compared to the newer version that I flew on the other sectors.
