My friend has a QFF Classic Rewards booking SYD-SFO-FCA, was departing tonight but QF73 has been cancelled. They've switched her to UA tomorrow morning SYD-SFO but she's not having any joy with the SFO-FCA leg which was on AS metal. No reward seats available so phone agents can't find a solution.
Does QFF need to find an alternative or can they just dump her in SFO and say find you own way to Kalispell? Which is basically what's happening so far.
ETA: After suggesting she HUACA, she found an agent who could help. It's a carp connection in SFO but she will get to her destination, eventually.
