QF93 - MEL to LAX in business class.

Hi all, I was recently lucky enough to be upgraded from PE to J on a QF A380 from Melbourne to LAX. In typical A380-style, the flight was delayed by 2 hrs due to a technical issue. But otherwise everything went well. Included is a video I've put together.

I'm fairly knew at putting trip report videos together so I'm keen to hear compliments/suggestions.

I've got the following flights coming up before the end of September and I plan to put together more videos:
Virgin America LAS-SFO in F, A320
AA Seattle-Chicago First, 737
LAN 787 J SYD-AKL
EK F AKL-SYD

Fantastic video. If you know how to do it, and don't have a heap of time to do multiple photos and posts, I reckon a video is a superb way to give a taste of the experience.

Bearing in mind I have never done a TR.... my only suggestions would be:
- Linger a little longer on those shots where people might want to see what all is on offer - eg, in the lounge, what items were in the buffet; what all was in the snack bar onboard. (Of course regular fliers know all this but newbies wanting a quick glimpse of the J experience would value such things).
- While you showed what you ate, it would be useful to show what else was on the menu, and perhaps captions saying how soon the food was served etc. Seeing as you were quite near the back of the J cabin, was it a long time etc?

Otherwise really well done. Thanks for posting. Please post videos of your other trips if you can. I've never flown Virgin America or LAN...

Thanks kermatu, points taken and I'll be sure to get more lounge and menu options next time. I'm usually very conscious of the video length because my upload in Australia is quite slow but it's actually incredibly fast here in the US!

An excellent report - it gives a great feel for the QF J experience on the A380.
