Hi all,

Qantas has made a pleasant enhancement to the Activity Statement for QFF points and status credit activity. The update allows you to view your points and status credit earn by category, or by date (similar to the existing view).

My parents don't have this yet (still showing the old activity statement) so it appears that it is rolling out gradually.

Here's some screenshots for those who can't access it yet (points amounts have been edited for privacy).

The date view filter lets you change the view for 3/6/12 months or this/last membership year which is quite handy.

Here's all the earn categories that points are categorised into:

When viewing by date, the ability to search for specific transactions still exists:

Wow, this looks great. It hasn't hit my account yet but the ability to filter down on transactions which have earned SC looks particularly useful for status match applications.

Yeah, looks nifty. I don't have it on my account as yet.

I've got it in mine and it does look good

Anyone care to validate?

Yes thanks for the tip. That works and I can see the new filtering which is pretty good. When logging into the QFF portal, there is no way I can find a link to the one you provided, rather I get the following URL when clicking on "Activity Statement"

So it does appear to be some sort of rollout.

Works for me too.

I hope there's a Print button coming to the new Activity Statement page as existed in the older Points Activity page - otherwise we could have an enhancement on our hands.

I am searching for my status expiry date but cannot find it. Any polite suggestions.

There are a few places you can find it:
  • Your physical membership card
  • Your digital membership card in the Qantas app
  • The Status Activity page - there will be a section telling you how many SC you need to attain/retain and your expiry date

  • The Points Club progress page - your Points Club year is the same as your status year.

For me - no physical card; the status activity page only tells me of my progress to P1. Following some links, I get to 'Status Support' page, which says:

So, the App is my friend.

I noticed this change either just before or after Christmas and my take it is the same information just presented differently. Reading some of the comments I am surprised that it is not just rolled out on mass.

This change could be paving the way for the rumoured new Points Club tier requiring earn from X number of categories.

I've just noticed the new activity statement only shows the statement entry date for each line, rather than both entry date and transaction date found on the old statements.

An annoying omission given Points Club qualification is based on transaction dates and many Qantas Mall partners take 90+ days to credit points.

It's also annoying because the old and new views share the exact same API endpoint - and the transaction activity date is in the "description" text, i.e:

"description": "RED PLANET RESEARCH PANEL 20-JAN-2021",

... but they're deliberately parsing the string and trimming the date before displaying it with a function in the code called removeLastWordIfFoundToBeDate for some reason, so it's not like it's an oversight!

I suggest testing to see what would happen with a 29 Feb Red Planet survey....although you may have to wait 3 years. ;(

Guessing this was likely written by a dev who doesn't understand the intricacies of the QFF and how the two dates differ.
