Also received that offer from QF the options were 75 status credits or 5000 QFF points. I chose the status credits since it's trivial to earn QFF points but not so easy to earn status credits. Sure I don't need those status credits to qualify for Platinum this year, but it will mean I will earn Platinum earlier (i.e. by the time I'm in the US for my trip in October if everything remains the same) or hopefully my JQ flights from DRW to SYD cancels or schedule changes allowing me to swap that into a connecting flight to earn 60 SCs instead thereby allowing me to enter the QF Flounge at SYD for my trip to DFW.-RooFlyer88
