Hi all,

I have a flight to coughet from Sydney next month in StarClass and obviously the SCs are of interest to me. I put my FF number on my booking (thru JQ website), but cannot see it anywhere in my booking.

Obviously I can't see the booking through my FF login, and I believe JQ booking refs can't be used with "checkmytrip"???.

Not really a big problem cause I can always manual claim later, but would like to see if there is a way to find it?

Can't use CheckMyTrip on JQ bookings - JQ don't use Amadeus.

I think you'll just have to call JQ. Normally the number is put on the booking; it's not blatantly obvious (and sometimes "incorrectly formatted", e.g. if your FF number is 1234567, the FF number might be printed "FF # 0123456700" or something like that).

Otherwise, a manual claim should be fine?

The easiest way, and possibly often overlooked feature of the JQ website is to use the login feature. You can login as a QF member, which requires your QFF number and pin. From memory it made me then register an email so I'm a 'Jetstar member'.

So now I login with my email address and QFF pin and comes up with my profile. You can click my bookings, which appears to list all the PNR's future and past I have with JQ that had my QFF number. In reality I always have to refresh/click 'my bookings' a 2nd time after logging in for it to actually load them. When I haven't quoted my QFF number they don't appear so it is definitely cross referenced to that piece of information.

It really is a bare skeleton of a web site once you login and gives the impression they've just copied the templates for the corporate agent pages. But it is quite useful in checking the QFF number is in and helps organise any JQ flights you have.

I find some bookings the number is added onto easily, and some aren’t. I’m not sure why it varies, but sometimes it just doesn’t work, and sometimes it wont even work if you phone them and ask them to add your QFF#.

This might have to be a case of claiming credit later!

Amazing! exactly what I was looking for. Under logins select QFF, but the next page just goes to member login, and I would have been confused, except your post said use QFF Number/Pin, got in fine, and as you also said, have to load my bookings page twice, and my upcoming booking came up, as well as a whole bunch of previously flown segments (not QF earning ones but that I have added FF number to booking).

As you said, a good tool but poorly designed/implemented!
