I'm hoping a knowledgeable AFF'er can help me out here. I'm booking BA flights LHR - GLA - LHR - FCO with family, & we are booked into L and O fare classes.

The Qantas FF terms webpage says the following are eligible :

GKLMNOQSV (selected routes only)*
GKLMNOQSV (selected routes only)^
* Travel in Discount Economy in the Eligible Booking Classes that is not between these city pairs will earn a Base Rate of 0.25:
^ Travel in Discount Economy in the Eligible Booking Classes between these city pairs will earn a Base Rate of 1:

Does anyone know what the selected routes referred to are, and if we are eligible for QFF points at .25 or 1 - 1? And does the same apply to SC's - it would be a bummer to only get SC's credited at .25.

I believe the routes covered by the Joint Services Agreement would be the ^, Europe to Australia,
that is Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney and London or Frankfurt via Bangkok or Singapore,
- Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney and Bangkok or Singapore, and
- London or Frankfurt and Bangkok or Singapore.

SCs aren't credited at .25 - you either get them at Discount Economy, Full Economy/Y+, Business, or First levels, depending on miles flown:
Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Status Credits

I have had situations where, because of the fare class, on a BA flight, points have ben at .25 and SCs at discount economy.

The selected routes referred to are the Kangaroo Route combinations from LHR and FRA across to BKK and SIN then on to Australia.

As your flights are not Kangaroo route flights - you'll earn at 0.25 for points, and Discount Economy status credits as if you'd earnt at 1. Note there is a minimum points guarantee of 125 points for discount economy flights on BA (so generous!)

So based on the Great Circle Mapper, you should get

LHR - GLA is 345 miles, so 125 points and 10 Status Credits
GLA - LHR (as above)
LHR - FCO is 899 miles so about 225 points and 15 Status Credits

Thanks all for that quick response. I'll get more points from from the cc booking than the flights, but all good so long as the SC's are there.
