Hi guys. Thought I will run this pass you as the information on the Q website is a bit sketchy.
I have redeemed using QFF points 2 tixs SYD to HNL in May. Whilst on a QF flight number, we are on the Jetsar flight. I am also a QC Bronze member. My questions are:
1) Being a QC member, can I check in using the "business" &/or "star" lane for Internation flights? I understand this privilege had been canned with the introduction of the new IQ card for domestic routes.
2) What are my baggage allowances? (I am planning to shop up a storm at the outlets). Qantas website say "2 x 34kg baggage per person" but Jetsar website say "23kg". Am I entitle to Qantas allowance? My online booking say "Included 2 pieces". I want to avoid any disagreement with Jetstar check in staff at HNL airport on the way back.
I also wasn't given the option of "Feed Me" or the entertainment option when doing the booking.
3) As I am on a redemption flight, any chances of an upgrade using cash?
I will post this on another thread but if you know of any reasonable hotels within walking distance to the beach, would love to hear your recommendations. We stayed at the Ala Moana last time which was fantastic. But would like to try out something in Waikiki this time as we spend so much of our time there during the evenings.
Cheers,
Annie
