Going CNS/HKG/CNS on CX next week in Y with Mrs Lime for a change, as an QFF SG can we use the CX business class check in?,

Yes indeed, I believe this is an OWS benefit - either way they always seem to be quite friendly towards QF's elites.

Thanks thought so.

Yes they do seem to like QFF SG and and above, last trip to HKG Mrs lime received an upgrade to J.

Yes. You can use the business class check-in, and also have access to the business class lounges. You'll also get priority boarding, but I think you already know all these. :)

Don't forget the baggage allowance is not a benefit, your stuck with 20kg in Y and they are picky at the downtown checkin regardless of your status.

Of course you can use it and be advised that OWS are very well considered on Cathay, per example as a OWS they OFFER you an exit row seat free of charge that's in their policies and each time i fly on Cathay even in Y the purser comes to welcome me on their flights.

That reminds me, if you have time, call them up so they can allocate you an exit row seat in advance if that's your thing. It's a CX published benefit for anyone OW Ruby and above. Watch out where the toilets are though.

Yes, I requested exit row on my QF codeshare with CX to Rome, very accommodating. The CX legs show up on my bookings with a different booking reference. Just wish I could use some of the new QF baggage benefits. 20kgs is very tight.

Yes aware of luggage weights out of HK, very strict and downtown drop off even more so, we usually leave with one suitcase in another comeback with one each from HK, plus carry on, been there so many times running out of things to buy.. well I tell Mrs Lime that.:)
