There has been one (maybe more) negative posts about the QFF Store here in the past. I thought I would throw my 2 cents in with my experience. I don’t want to argue about value of points, where I could have used them or on what.

I had decided to obtain a Dyson barrel vacuum cleaner through points for SWMBO. Anyway, I had been aiming for the one that Citibank had on offer for around 95K points + $30ish p&p. However at the beginning of April it disappeared from the Citibank available rewards, and was replaced by an upright at 110K + $30ish p&p, which was a cheaper model in $ terms at the shops than the original barrel.

Anyway, I though I would look up the QFF Store on line, and hey presto, they had a better model barrel Dyson than the original Citibank one. It was however 120K points but no p&p. So I bit the bullet and ordered it on the evening of the 3rd of April. At the end of the order process I was informed that the vacuum would be delivered in 10 working days. After another thread here, I was a bit dubious about the lead time. The points were deducted from my QFF account immediately.

So allowing for Easter holidays, the vacuum should have been delivered by the 21st of April. The vacuum was actually delivered on 16th of April whilst I was away, and SWMBO, immediately opened it up and vacuumed the entire house (again). I have lots of brownie points, thanks QFF.

That would have to be a first, getting brownie points with SWMBO when giving her a cleaning implement :confused:

Ordered a Bose soundock with bose in-ear headphones and IPod for 89500 points a few months ago, arrived well before 10 days and had no troubles whatsoever.

Dysons are awesome, I have a cheap $200 cyclone vacuum at the office and had to use it recently myself, couldn't believe the difference. Having used a Dyson for the past 3 years I had become spoilt...

Just to drag up and add to an old thread.....

I ordered an iPod Touch for my daughter's birthday (so a definite "required by" date), which failed to be delivered within the stipulated 10 days. SO with a growing sense of dread, I fired off an email to the help section of the QFF Store. I expected, having read more than a few complaints about their lack of service, that it just fall into a black hole, an expectation not enhanced a few minutes later when an "out of office" reply popped up.

However, not 20 minutes later a proper reply was received, and within an hour the package was retrieved from the nearest AusPost office who had completely failed to deliver the package several days before.

So credit where it's due, but for the best efforts of AusPost to screw things up, I would have had the item within 4 days of ordering. The assistance I received from the QFF store was extremely professional. They've obviously gone out of their way to turn things around from where they were before.

I may as well add my recent experience then. I ordered a pair of Panasonic NC headphones on the evening of Saturday June 6. On Thursday afternoon, June 11 I received a call from the courier firm to arrange delivery (I had selected the "call before delivery" option) and the package was delivered the next morning.

Monday June 8 was a public holiday in most places so I was actually impressed to receive it on just the fourth business day. I did note that the item was dispatched straight from the Panasonic distributor on invoice to Carlson Marketing.

Richard.
