Hi All

have been looking at a quick trip from Sydney to Honolulu and the QF search engine seems to have two options..

1. Syd-Hnl direct

2. Syd-Hnl via Fiju, and Christmas Island

Am I silly? Isn't Christmas Island the wrong direction? Christmas Island doesn't appear as a Qantas destination in the miles calculator..

Thanks

Dons Homer voice: "TWO Christmas Islands? That's just wacky... even more confusing because Christmas Island (the Aus one) has an internet mnemonic of .cx

Is this an intersting adventure, worth the diversion? I don't want to be in some small Crash-8 type plane.. :)

the Indian Ocean one has an internet extension because it is officially an Australian Overseas Territory and as thus "separate" to Australia. The Pacific one is one of many islands that make up island nation of Kiribati which uses ki.
