Redeeming vouchers can provide more value for points, instead of items or flights.
If you redeem points for flights, this can work out to be more costly (in terms of $-to-point ratio) than redeem for say, grocery vouchers (eg. Woolworths). Not to mention the fact that you can't earn points on redeemed flights...!
I did a quick research today for specific vouchers I am interetsed in.
Again these are the shops I would normally shop at on a regular basis, especially Woolies and Caltex for petrol. I get a few hundred dollars every quarter or so~!
I've put my search results in excel to provide easy comparison - check it out.
What do you redeem your QFF points for, apart from flights? Any tips?
Any recommendation on high value membership points, QFF and/or other programs?
