Ah the joys of air travel.
Got to airport for QFF533 only to find out that it was delayed.
Took off 35 minutes late and after about 5 minutes captain on PA saying that landing gear is still down. A few minutes later we turn back to BNE. Waited on board a while and then reported that aircraft is un-serviceable.
Not complaining but Qantas is handling the situation quite well and I am thankful that this is Qantas and not JQ or TT. Patiently waiting in the BNE Business lounge now while new boarding passes are handed out. Lounge staff are not allowed to do anything as everytnhing has been handed over to some special response team.
And while I have been waiting I have the pleasure of munitalP's company as he is on his way home.
