Well, I kindly gifted my housemate one of my spare QP visitor invites for his recent PER-(xHKG)-LHR-(xSIN)-PER trip. As he was on short connections en-route, I suggested he save the invite for LHR T3.
Well, he got back this time yesterday and the BA lounge dragons turned him away and said no access. Turns out it was my fault for not reading the back of the invite (no access to QP associated lounges), and referring to the BA lounge access grid.
They were well within their rights to deny access per the terms of the invite, but I do wonder why LHR T3 is an associated lounge and not a joint QF/BA operated lounge like HKG, LAX and SIN. I would have thought that considering the UK is a major QF destination they would have set it up as a joint lounge facility.
Also, does anyone have or know where to find a more recent copy of the BA lounge access grid?
