I'm planning to join QP as a partner; the primary member is SG soon to be downgraded to PS next month, but is going to pay the $405 renewal.

Will my renewal date be the same as the primary member or will it be 1 year from when I join?

Thanks.

Firstly I wouldn't be paying $405 to renew, i'd be looking at either the AFF or another corporate program you might be eligible to join which will bring it down closer to $300ish.

With regard to the expiry date, you'll have to confirm with QF, but if you're joining as his partner, i'd assume they would prorate your membership for the first year to expire with his, though i'd check direct with QF to confirm that.

In my experience the partner has their own membership year based on when they join the QP, not the existing "sponsoring" member, nor any existing QFF membership dates of the partner.

Join now and the partner QP membership is good until end of June '10

(Note it's different to a WP's PG status where the partner's SG year is aligned with the WP's).
