QR 3 x daily flights to SYD ?

I've just noticed that Qatar is one of the only international airlines still flying in and out of SYD, and in fact they now have 3x daily DOH-SYD flights! Anyone know anything more about these flights - are they pretty busy given no one else is flying to the Middle East and Europe (except Singapore Airlines for a few more days)? Are Qatar going to try to keep flying throughout this, to support essential workers and others who are happy to deal with the required quarantines ?

QR913 on Monday 30th flies BNE-DOH according to flight options on QR website and expert flyer seat map is loaded. Obviously Covid-19 related and may be of use to some people. We’ve family stranded by emirates cancellation and qatar are about the only remaking option for flights back to UK.

You would really have to be desperate to book a seat at the moment. The cheapest available one-way fares from Doha to Australia next week are $9,933 (for a business class seat - nothing else is being sold).



LHR-xDOH-SYD is minimum $9,771.
LHR-xDOH-BNE is minimum $13,257. Yes, that's one-way.
