Ive learned through a source has advised that this is the target date for start under Accor management, but it looks like they'll keep the brand as Quay West suites as there is good growth potential in Asia.

Hi Deewhy, does your mole give any indication of the changeover for The Sea Temple @ Port Douglas?

Not a big deal in terms of the AKL property - v blah from my last trip in 2011 (clean and friendly tho)

Ah yes, The Sea Temple at Port Douglas - I remember staying in a villa there when it first opened in 2004 with the rooftop spa and barbecue area, and the private pools. Great resort.

I am not sure about his source, but the Mirvac reps came into work today. No official details have yet been released but Sea Temple & Quay West look to be staying as own brands, rest would be merged.

Problem with Sea Temples is their isnt really a direct correlation with Accor branding to merge them into. So for the moment they look to stay on their own.
