Query - just gone silver and confused!

Hi See below for my Status situation.

Should I be holding off till after August 2011 before flying (I have to do quite a bit in July) and will the 90 points accrued since going silver be wasted?

Or do I have 310 points to earn before my status reassessment date of 31 August 2012 to go Gold?

Status reassessment will occur: 31 Aug 2012

Status Credits earned from 01 Sep 2010: 390

Additional Status credits required by 31 Aug 2011 to attain Gold: 310

As it stands:

Your status of SILVER is currently scheduled to be reassessed in Aug 2012.

As it states, if you want to get gold, you need 310 by 31AUG2011.

• If you don't achieve that, then your count will set to zero on 01SEP2011, and you start again.
• If you do achievd the 310 by 31AUG2011, then your GOLD status will be reassessed in 2012.

They are not necessarily wasted if you expect to keep flying OW airlines in the coming years and hence head towards a Lifetime status of Silver or Gold, then these credits will get you a very little bit closer...

SC's will also still count towards your loyalty bonuses too.

Unless you get the other 310, but that's just how the program works.

Not totally wasted. Earn another 60 SC's before Dec 1 and you'll receive a loyalty bonus of 5,000 FF points.

Yeah, Me too. I had 450SC at the end of my year in May... A rather pointless total in the middle of the range.

As a rule QF do not move peoples reassessment dates. If you do manage to change it it would be a one off exercise.
