Hi,

Am hoping someone can shed some light on this situation.

A friend living with us used her Air NZ airpoints to ensure we fly back business class from Europe later this year.

We fly back on Singapore Air to Singapore, then Air NZ to Auckland.

We booked the flights, paid the extra dollars, received the confirmation and email ticketing a few weeks ago.

However we've now found the points haven't been taken from her account.

In the past when using airpoints they have been taken out of our accounts straightaway.

Is this a screw up?

Appreciate any insight - thanks.

You don't really have any choice but for your friend, or you, to call Air NZ.
