I've never used my FF points before so excuse my ignorance.

If I book a one way FF flight Sydney to LA and it goes via Hong Kong, does that mean I need points to Hong Kong and then to LA eg 85000 approx?

I think one way to LA is about 48000 normally so this is the only thing I could think of?

Thanks for your help.

If you don't stop-over in HGK, then the points required is based on the total distance of the sectors, so SYD-HKG plus HKG-LAX miles and then look at th epoints table for the points required for that distance.

If you stop over in HKG, then its two separate one-way trips and is the sum of the points required for SYD-HKG and HKG-LAX.

SYD-HKG-LAX with only transit in HKG is 75,000 QFF points.

SYD-HKG-LAX with a stopover in HKG is 86,000 QFF points.
