Hi there..I am trying to book 3 x seats 6/3/2011 BA0175 LHR-JFK and then BA1534 15/3/12 JFK - CDG - yesterday the quote was 1043.00 pounds and today 1281.00 pounds. Last week it was a different amount again. Called BA and they say it can fluctuate throughout the day but that seems a fairly big difference of 238 pounds. I looked at Expert Flyer and there still seems to be a fair amount of eco seats available, just not sure now whether I should wait and hope for a drop or book now and avoid an increase. Does anyone have an knowledge on this?

The prices can alter constantly as BA are monitoring their competitors price offerings as well and adjusting their own classes and prices for those fare buckets as well.

Best advice is is you are happy with the price and think it is fair and reasonable at the time then book.

But dont keep looking after you've booked in case it comes down. If you dont look you wont know

You can get that fare booking it through AA. AA6140 LHR to JFK and AA64 JFK to CDG (so actually the same flights but just different flight numbers...)
