Last JQ flight I took I bought an OD upgrade to Starclass but did not recieve appropriate mileage or SCs for it. My understanding is that since it was a PAID upgrade and not an op up that I am eligible for the points/SCs.

I ask because I have been credited for the outward trip but not the return, and I paid both times for upgrades.

Recently JQ has been explaining when people take the upgade that they are not eligible for the additional FF points or SCs.

However some people have still been receiving it, particulary in one direction

Can't hurt to put in a claim but YMMV.

Also how much did you pay for the upgrades:http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/com...arture-upgrade-prices-18077-4.html#post244276

A few months back, paid ¥20 000 for the one that wasn't credited. I did put in a claim but it shows up as nothing earned on it.

From what the OP said it was the ex Australia flight that got credited. I had a working theory that perhaps it was the flights to Australia that were getting credited for the ODUs.

This has been the case in my limited experience.
