Question re Multi City

I am looking at some flights to Singapore next year in April/May using points. When I book directly just a straight return flight, multiple options come up (both Qantas and Finnair flights, as well as Jetstar) - however, when I use Multi-City, as we are considering going into SIN and out of Hong Kong, I lose the option to book the direct flights and only get Jetstar flights to Singapore (via Bali or Melbourne from Sydney). Even if I just do a direct return flight but use the Multi-City option I still don't get the direct flight options.

Am I doing something wrong here? Am I trying too early, or am I missing ticking a box somewhere or something. Jetstar is not my choice of Airline.

Thanks in advance if anyone can guide me in the right direction.

Sounds like married segments - don't think there's any way around this.

Where are you originating from? If you can see one sector one way and the other one way return then you could book them separately.

TBH, I’m surprised you can see award seats ex Oz to SIN. They’ve been very problematic.

Ah, just as I was typing. Are you searching CR or CR+? The later don’t show in multi-city search (fortunately).

and CR+ currently aren’t available to book one way from OS. But depending on how far out you looking, there might still be some CRs?
