Question Re VA 2 for 1 Business Class (International Flights)...

So it appears VA have matched QF's 2 for 1 J class offer on international flights (I haven't checked domestic). I need to travel to LA in June and September so my question is, can I book 2 seats under my name and then make a date change so I end up with the separate bookings?

The interesting thing is QF's fare rules specifically state that 2 people must travel together. VA on the other hand refer this offer (2 for 1) back to the Business Deal fare rules which does not state that two people must travel together. Do you reckon I could get away with it?

Btw, I also need to go to LA however in the first week of June (court date on the 6th), return doesn't matter to me. If the date suits you I might be game to be pax #2 if the deal is worth it.

J RTN Fare for one pax $8266. 2 for 1 is $4939 p/person. I was planning to leave 06 Jun BNE/LAX and return leaving LA 11 Jun (attending a conference 09-11 Jun). Not sure if these dates work for you?
