Questions - Business Class on FF points

Hi there,

Having received and read many posts while planning for my trip next year (November) I have decided to try and fly at least one way business class (2 tickets).
I have tried getting a home bound flight from Paris to Sydney via HK or Singapore but can find nothing at all. Is there an alternative route I should try?

I can get seats for the outbound flight from SYD to JFK however the stopover at LAX is in the middle of the night - Does this make being in Business Class a little pointless as sleep would be interrupted?

Any suggestions would be welcome from experienced FFlyers.

HavE you tried LAX-BNE or MEL.
A lot of QF flights leave for Oz around 10 and 11 pm which works ok.

Try booking a flight from LHR (Heathrow) to SYD should be no problem getting on with BA in business. CM:mrgreen:

LHR to SYD business class - nothing doing.

I have found that I can go either from LHR or CDG to NRT via business class but from NRT to SYD or MEL there is nothing available.

I was thinking I might have more chance getting something if I ring the call centre or is this just wishful thinking?

After more hours then I can count on the forums and Qantas website I have just booked CDG to SIN via LHR business class on the Airbus (overnight) and then SIN to SYD Economy also on the Airbus.

I realised that I didn't have enough points for Business Class all the way from Europe (I did have enough for the SYD to JFK flight but all I could get were day flights) and I just couldn't get PE seats on both legs on convienient days (thanks for the suggestion).
I had to move the trip back a week and I will now have to pay for the SYD to JFK leg but I think it will be worth it.

I have never been in Business Class before so looking forward to the experience!!!!!
