Hi all,

I did delve into AFF a couple of years back for a short-lived love affair but work has kept me off for the past 2 years or so. I'm a MEL-based TA and things tend to slow down at this time of year, hence my not-so-heralded return. Hoping that I can add some industry expertise or suggestions to the board, and of course learn a bunch too.

A little about me and recent travel history for anyone who can be bothered continuing:

Born and bred Melburnian with stints living in LON and RIO over the past few years. Been a TA for going on 7 years now so I know just how terrible we can be. Finally got QF silver last month but work travel is almost always issued on AD fares which don't accumulate points so doubting I'll stay there long. Flew my first CX D sector last month on an AY fare to Europe; herringbone seating on CX allowed for minimalistic conversation with perpendicularly-angled Mrs El_Vee which was wonderful! MH D class MEL-KUL vv is next up in Feb to test their new A330; almost purely to have ammunition for when I complain that they pose no competition or threat to other SE Asian quality carriers. Still haven't flown on a 380 - officially the worst TA going around! QF MEL-SIN in June will fortunately erase that embarrassment for good.

That's all from me; looking forward to contributing. Really impressed with the level of knowledge and insight on this board so can't wait to be a part of it.

Enjoy New Years!
