Hi All,

I have a booking with QF, TSV-BNE-DRW return in a month.

There is 3 of us traveling under my booking/PNR in Econ and l am a QG, the other 2 are QC,NB.

Normally l have no prob with ODU's out of TSV to BNE.

My question!
when we check in and move to the QP and apply for a ODU in TSV will they only ODU to BNE or will they (if successfull) ODU all the way to DRW.

Or will they only ODU to BNE and we will have to do it again in the BNE QP for the next leg as well.

TSV-BNE is a 738 both ways
BNE -DRW is a 767300/300ER both ways.

Both legs have pretty wide availabilty in J at the moment.

Is it going to be impossible to get 3 ODU's at once or is there a chance of getting lucky.

Thanks....

I'm not sure of the correct answer. but i would guess that if you are on different flight numbers you will have to upgrade each leg separately. They may be able to do the upgrade request for both flights from TSV, but I'm not sure on that point.

Have checked this out previously, so I know the answer. Lounge dragons in QP's can only issue ODU's for flights departing from that port.

So as you guessed, you'll need to make another stop at the BNE QP service desk to request the ODU for your BNE-DRW sector.

If you can drop some dates and flight numbers here, either myself or another nice member with KVS can take a look at availability now and again closer to the date.

Also, I don't know if an NB is able to request an ODU in a QP. I wouldn't see why not if they've been permitted entry as a guest and have sufficient points in their QFF a/c to cover. Can anyone confirm this scenario as permissible or not?

My understanding is that ODUs can only be done in a QP, so as long as you can enter, you're fine, regardless of status.

Thankyou all for your reply's. I appreciate your help!

The NB's are paid QC members. And can enter the QP in their own right.
As we were traveling together l had my TA place us all together under the same booking/PNR using me as the main booking name because l am QG.
The idea was, it would give us a better chance of the ODU.

Usually as l said above l don't have a problem, my score rate is prob 7 out of 10 which l think is great odd's.

I just have not had the experience with 3 on the same booking.
I am not so much worried about the TSV to BNE flight as it's reasonably short.
But the BNE-DRW flight is 4 odd hours so l thought it would be good to get the ODU for this one.

The dragon's know me very well in TSV and l get on with them very well.
As l am away from home today, when l get back l will post the flights and take you up on your help (availability) offer.

Thanks again folks,
I am very greatfull for the help.....

Just had another thought, and I don't know how far you'd get with it - but if you are on great terms with the dragons in TSV, see if you can sweet talk them into calling ahead to BNE. You never know, they may be nice enough to arrange the upgrades on the BNE-DRW sector in advance.
