Well here you are well within the arctic circle where summer is 1 day lasting 4 months and winter 1 night lasting 4 months with 2 month breaks in between.being so remote it is not cheap-$400 a night but you do get internet and breakfast in that rate. The place was absolutely full with 2 cruises going out the next morning.Room is not ready when we arrive just before 3.We are taken to bar and given complimentary drinks-

The room was fairly basic-

With a typical European style king bed.

a fairly cramped bathroom.

Though we had been upgraded to a superior corner room! With view.

Though it is unlikely you are going to get anything better here.At least the place has tax free shopping-20% cheaper than mainland Norway.
