Red e-deals

I am trying to book a red e-deal (N class) on the QF website and once I imput my details, the system comes up with available flights. Initially it was just myself travelling, but now there will be two. When looking at the available flight options for one person, it displays the return flight as a red e-deal priced at $102 yet when looking at the available flight options for two people, the return price per person jumps to $113 per person despite still being a red e-deal. :?

I checked the inventory data on Galileo and it is displaying only one N class seat as being available.

Anyone got any ideas what is going on??

"O" class is a "Red Deal" (as opposed to a "Red E-deal"), and has the same conditions as "N" class (apart from the fact that you don't need to upgrade to the a higher fare bucket if you want to change flights like you do with "N" class). You can also book "O" class fares over the phone.

I would suggest that the system classes "O" class as a Red E-Deal, which makes sense since it isn't really a Super-Saver.

As thadocta quite correctly points out there is only one available ticket at the $102 fare and others at the $113 fare. They may well both still be "Red E-Deal" in the big picture however are different fare classes within the airline system. ie The airlines run several classes within each of the fare groups that you/we see published.
