Just wondering if anyone has had success in the past using VA points for F on SQ?

I know SQ limits F availability for award partners, so curious if they put tight restrictions on VA.

And I realise that what happened in the past may be very different in the future!

IIRC SQ F wasn't available to book using Velocity points. You had to transfer Velocity points to KrisFlyer and then book with KrisFlyer miles, I think. Obviously that is no longer an option.

Also, as you may already be aware, Singapore Airlines is not currently releasing any award availability in any class of travel to any partner airlines (and hasn't since last year).

You could book SQ F with Velocity over the phone at one stage

Ah, I was wondering if that was the case. I remember you definitely couldn't book on the VA website but I suspect you are correct.

First class SIN was over the phone, that's how i recall doing it in 2019

I also have booked SQ F on Velocity points - unfortunately got cancelled due COVID.
You do need to book via the call centre, and they only book into 'saver' class awards availability when looking via KF.

You used to have to call up for EY F as well. However I notice that EY F is now showing on the VA website, so perhaps SQ F will as well when SQ redemptions return?
